Dumpsters
What Can Go In The Load? Items To Check Before Loading
Tell us about special items and heavy or unknown material before mixing it into a hauling or dumpster load.
In This Guide
Discuss unusual materials before loading. Restricted items need a separate plan, not a place underneath ordinary debris.
Keep Restricted Materials Separate
SWACO’s landfill excludes these categories or sets acceptance conditions:
- Liquids, oil, chemicals and hazardous waste.
- Tires, lead-acid batteries, TVs, computers and other electronics.
- Appliances still containing refrigerant; gas cylinders.
- Leaves, grass, shrubs and tree debris.
- Asbestos; medical, biological, chemotherapy or radioactive waste; explosives.
- Vehicles, major vehicle parts, large machinery and petroleum-contaminated soil.
- Drums and containers that do not meet its empty-container requirements.
Some items have conditions: dried water-based paint, properly processed refrigerant appliances, separately delivered empty cylinders and certain soils need the applicable facility requirements checked.
Plan The Disposal Route Before Loading
Send a description and safely taken photos. We discuss what must stay separate, the loading order, receiving facilities, transport, extra handling and costs. A recycler, compost facility or specialist may be needed; acceptance must be confirmed first. This does not promise Simply can transport every regulated material.
Business waste does not automatically qualify for resident-only recycling or household hazardous-waste programs. Commercial arrangements and charges must be checked separately.
Keep Weight & Material Limits In Mind
Concrete, brick, soil and other dense material can reach a weight limit before filling the container. Tell us before loading so the equipment and destination fit the job. Do not open or mix unknown substances for a photo.
Discuss The Plan With Simply
If an item cannot go to the usual disposal facility, discuss it with us before loading. We can explore an appropriate option and agree on how the debris will be separated and unloaded efficiently.
Your quote confirms materials, destinations, special handling and charges. Seven-day rentals are $400.00 for 20 cubic yards and $500.00 for 33 cubic yards. Dump fees are additional; eligible residential and commercial promotions apply.
