Your service-terms acknowledgment
When you submit an acknowledgment, we save the name and email address you enter, the exact acknowledgment wording, the date and time, the terms version and document fingerprint, and the network IP address reported to our server. An IP address helps document a submission; it does not prove who a person is.
We use these records to administer service agreements, provide a copy of the terms, recognize a returning device, answer questions, and address disputes or legal requirements. Acknowledging terms does not sign you up for marketing, book a job, agree to an unknown price, or authorize a charge.
A copy for you
We send the terms PDF and a secure return link to the email address you provide. Submitting an address does not prove that you own it. Opening and confirming its secure link verifies access to that mailbox.
Return links are private, single-use, and expire after 30 minutes. You may request a fresh link if you use a different browser or device.
Remembering your device
Your browser stores an opaque device token and basic receipt information, not the name or email you entered. The server checks the token before recognizing the acknowledgment. Device access lasts up to one year and applies only to the accepted terms version.
Use “Your acknowledgment” in the footer and “Forget this device” to remove the browser's remembered access. This does not delete the business record. Clearing browser data or changing devices may also require a new email link. A revised terms version may require a new acknowledgment.
Storage and service providers
Acknowledgment records are stored in the private database on Simply Hauling's WordPress hosting. We use hosting and email service providers to operate this feature. Records are not published on the website. Secure-link and device tokens are stored as cryptographic digests on the server.
We retain acknowledgment records for agreement administration, disputes, and applicable recordkeeping needs. They do not currently have an automatic deletion date. Expired access tokens and temporary rate-limit records are periodically removed. Contact us about access, correction, or deletion requests; some records may need to be retained for legal or business obligations.
Other website features
Service-request forms send your job details, contact information, preferences, and any selected photos to Simply Hauling for follow-up. We save a private copy in WordPress and email a notification to info@getsimplyhauling.com. Photos are resized for sending and stored privately, not in the public media library. Requests are associated with your service-terms acknowledgment and network IP address. These records are retained for inquiry handling, service administration, and related recordkeeping needs; no automatic deletion date is configured. Contact us with access, correction, or deletion requests. Sending an inquiry does not confirm a booking. Invoice payment links open the existing Simply Hauling payment page; that page and its payment provider handle payment information under their own notices. Links to social networks and other outside services take you to sites with their own privacy practices.
Photos and video of service work are governed by Section 12 of the service terms, including its protections for faces and private details.
