Hauling, Moving, or a Dumpster: Which Service Do You Need?

Start with one question: are you keeping the items? If they are going to another address, look at moving. If they are leaving for disposal, decide whether you want us to load them or want time to load a container yourself. You can explain the job in ordinary words; you do not need to identify the equipment first.

Keeping it? Plan a move.

Simply Moving covers agreed transport from a pickup address to a delivery address. Our published local option is $50 per man-hour with a two-hour minimum for each agreed crew member. For an individual item, ask about one agreed total instead. Include both addresses, the item list, and access at both ends.

Getting rid of it? Choose who loads.

Simply Hauling is the option when you need approved furniture, bulk debris, or cleanout contents carried out and loaded. A dumpster rental fits a project where you or your contractors will load over an agreed rental period. Loading help is something to discuss in the quote; do not assume it is included in a space price.

Some jobs need more than one service.

An apartment move might include transporting belongings you are keeping and removing furniture you are not. A property renovation might need an initial crew-loaded trash-out followed by a roll-off for contractors. Keep those lists separate so the quote can explain each part clearly.

For example, tell us: “Move the sofa to my new apartment, remove the old mattress, and leave everything marked to keep.” That gives us a useful starting scope without making you choose a load size.

Share the complete address or addresses, photos, access conditions, who will load, and your preferred date. We confirm materials, equipment, availability, and the written price before service. Compare the published pricing or text us the job if the best fit is still unclear.
