What Should Your Hauling, Moving, or Dumpster Quote Explain?

A useful quote lets you understand what will happen and what you are agreeing to pay. Our site gives starting information, including dumpster space prices and a local moving labor rate. The written quote or estimate needs to connect those numbers to your actual work, addresses, materials, and schedule.

For hauling and cleanouts

Identify the approved contents, exact location, carrying and loading work, disposal arrangements, and what stays. Include stairs, elevators, gates, and carrying distance. Do not assume that removal includes cleaning, repairs, or everything visible in a photograph.

For a dumpster rental

Confirm the physical container, starting space, usage measurement, additional-space rate, material and weight limits, rental period, delivery and pickup, and any labor. Published space prices are before discounts, with disposal fees separate and based on weight. Ask how any extra-day, special-item, or other applicable charge is handled.

For a move

Confirm pickup and destination, item list, agreed crew, vehicle, equipment, travel, billable start and finish, time measurement, and other charges. The hourly option has a two-hour minimum for each agreed crew member. An individual-item total quote is an alternative; the hourly minimum is not automatically added to it.

For every service

Check the date or service arrangements, approving person, included work, exclusions, and process for changes. Any discount eligibility and invoice treatment belong in the written quote or Agreement. Sending an inquiry or proposed moving work order asks us to review a job; it does not confirm a booking or authorize a charge.
